There are a number of avenues for parents to access funding for their children involved in school sport.

Local Sporting Champions program

This is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12–18 towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championships or a School Sport Australia state or national championships.

South West Indigenous Network (SWIN)

For assistance completing the program application forms or any other queries about the SWIN Small Grant Program please don't hesitate to contact your local Indigenous Community Sport and Recreation Officer.
